What you can learn here

Programs are organized by topic. You can start with any module, though the Market Fundamentals program provides useful context for the others.

Market Fundamentals

An introduction to how the Argentine real estate development sector is organized. This program establishes the vocabulary and conceptual framework used throughout all other modules.

Who the main participants are: developers, investors, fiduciaries, regulators
The typical lifecycle of a development project from land acquisition to delivery
The regulatory framework governing development activity in Argentina
How project documentation is typically structured and what to look for

Legal Structures Explained

A focused module on the legal vehicles used in Argentine development projects. The fideicomiso inmobiliario is the central topic, but the program also covers other structures that appear in the market.

What a fideicomiso is and how it differs from direct ownership
The roles of fiduciante, fiduciario and fideicomisario
How trust assets are separated from developer assets
What happens to the trust when a project concludes or encounters problems

Crowdlending in Practice

How collective lending works in the context of Argentine real estate development. This program explains the mechanics without advocating for or against participation.

How crowdlending platforms operate and what they are responsible for
What loan documentation typically includes and how to read it
How repayment structures are generally designed
The regulatory context for crowdlending under Argentine law

Preventa: Buying Before Completion

A detailed look at presale purchasing in the Argentine market. What it means to commit to a property that does not yet exist, and what the documentation and contractual relationship involve.

Why preventa prices differ from finished unit prices
What a preventa contract typically contains
Payment schedules and their relationship to construction progress
What happens if construction is delayed or the project changes

How the programs work

Are the programs free to access?
The educational content on this site is available to read without charge. Our purpose is to make this information accessible to anyone who wants to understand the Argentine urban development market. There are no paywalls, no registration requirements, and no fees associated with accessing the program material.
In what order should I read the programs?
You can start wherever the topic is most relevant to what you are currently looking at. That said, Market Fundamentals provides vocabulary and context that makes the other programs easier to follow. If you are entirely new to this market, starting there is a reasonable approach. If you already have some familiarity, you can go directly to whichever topic is most relevant.
Do the programs tell me whether a specific project is a good idea?
No. The programs explain how these structures and mechanisms work in general. They do not evaluate specific projects, make recommendations, or suggest that any particular approach is better than another. That kind of assessment falls under investment advice, which is not what we provide. The goal is to give you the conceptual tools to read and understand project documentation yourself.
